Jacques Bermon Webster I, born on April 30, 1990, more commonly known as Travis Scott (formerly Travi$ Scott) is an American rapper and singer. His stage name is a fusion of the name a beloved uncle and the initials of Kid Cudi (whose real identity is Scott Mescudi), Scott signed his first major label contract in 2012 with Epic Records. Scott signed a record deal with Epic Records and T.I. He has signed with Epic and T.I.'s Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's debut album Owl Pharaoh was self-released on his own in the year 2013. The project was followed by another mixtape, Days Before Rodeo, in 2014. Rodeo (2015) marked the release of his debut studio album. His hit single, "Antidote", was included on the album. His second album called Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was his first number one album on the Billboard 200. Scott released Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) with Quavo under the collective name Huncho Jack. In 2018, Astroworld was released to critical acclaim. It produced his first Billboard Hot 100 top 100 single, "Sicko Mode" feat. Drake. Scott's Cactus Jack Records release the compilation album JackBoys in late 2019. This album topped the Billboard 200. After the single "Franchise" featuring Scott (featuring Young Thug) and M.I.A. were released, it reached the top spot on the 200-page chart on Billboard. Scott was the first performer on The Hot 100 to have three songs reach number one within the span of a year.
