 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub of the United States is an actress comedian, activist, and actress. She was born in Soviet Union to Jewish immigrants and began her career after emigrating from Israel to the United States as a child actor. Her appearances as Lily Adams in AT&T TV commercials from 2013 to 2016 - and in 2020 - have earned her acclaim. She was also a frequent series regular on Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015) and had a recurring role in the NBC drama This Is Us (2016-2017). Vayntrub is also the voice for Squirrel girl on Marvel Rising since 2018, after she was cast in the TV pilot that was never aired New Warriors. Vayntrub is an Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic (USSR) native, and also an American Jew. Her parents and her were exiled from antisemitism as young as just two years old. They moved to the U.S. with their children. At five years of age she started appearing in Mattel Barbie commercials. This was partly due to financial struggles in her family. Vayntrub briefly studied at Beverly Hills High School. Following her sophomore year, she dropped out and got a GED. She went on to get a Bachelor of Arts Communication from University of California San Diego. She studied improv comedy with the Upright Citizens Brigade.
