Drew Blythe Barrymore, born 22nd February 1975, is an American actress. She is the recipient of numerous accolades, including an award from the Golden Globe and a Screen Actors Guild Award as and five Emmy Award nominations and a BAFTA nomination. She is a part of the Barrymore family, and is the great-granddaughter John Barrymore. Barrymore was an actor as a child and achieved notoriety for her character as E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. The Extra-Terrestrial was the result of a highly publicized early childhood that was characterized by drug and alcohol abuse, she published an autobiography Little Girl Lost. In the 1990s she was a part of several films, like PoisonIvy, Boys on the Side and Mad Love. Barrymore was in a variety of films in collaboration with Adam Sandler, including The Wedding Singer as well as 50 First Dates, and Blended.
